The 4.0-litre V8 engine from Mercedes-AMG boasts explosive power delivery combined with very finely controllable power output. The twin-scroll turbochargers are positioned between the cylinder heads ("hot inner-V") for better response. Cylinder shut-off under partial load ensures even greater efficiency.
