The V6 biturbo engine is characterised by a powerful output with low consumption and emissions. The high power output is thanks to the separate, larger turbochargers (maximum charge pressure 1.1 bar), among other things. Both turbochargers are installed close to the engine and respond particularly swiftly. The AMG engine is distinguishable by the engine cover with red aluminium insert and AMG lettering.

The C 43 4MATIC features the AMG SPEEDSHIFT TCT 9G transmission, which the Mercedes-AMG developers have tuned specifically to deliver a dynamic driving experience. The driver can change via kickdown directly from 9th into 6th or from 5th into 2nd gear, for example.
